Work: Triple X Syndrome

I met a patient with the above named disorder last week with her mother. Triple X Syndrome (trisomy X) is a genetic disorder which the female infants are born with 3X chromosomes. She weighed 6kg and was about 70cm tall at her 14 months of age, she could walk and spoke a few simple words but she was definitely a small size child and looked very delicate. Her appearance has been in my mind for the whole week because even my 5month-old son is heavier than her. Obviously, she was here for nutritional buildup. I prescribed her some milk supplements and gave her mom tips to increase energy intake...hopefully, I could see her growing a lot in her next visit.
